15Th Ave, take a right ( East )onto West 15th Ave. driving through Anchorage. After crossing A street, 15Th Ave is

highway ( #1) Drive 35.00 miles and take highway # 3 Parks highway, this is beginning of Parks Highway . Milepost
237 is the entrance to Denali park. McKinley Chalet resort is on milepost 238.9, Canyon DR.

Drive back to Anchorage with numerous photo view, stops on the way. But the best view of McKinley is from the park. Stop by Talkeetna milepost 98.7 from Anchorage, take a left and drive 14 miles. Nice view of McKinley and nice stop to see railroad up close, many shops, nice rest point. Stayed overnight in Red Roof Inn, on East 5th Ave. in Anchorage. Take East 5th Ave from hotel, take a left on Gambell St, after 15th Ave this street is becoming Seward highway. Drive to milepost 79 and take a left to Whittier. Tall booth to pay for Anderson Memorial tunnel is 6.7 miles from the junction. You should be at the tunnel by 11:25 A.M. for 11:30 opening of the tunnel to be able to catch 4 hours Prince William Sound cruse at 1:00 p.m. Catamaran is very comfortable and fast. Get back through tunnel at 6:00 P.M. and drive back to junction and take a left to Seward 91 miles. Stayed overnight at Marina Motel. Мы поехали на юг по Seward highway, направляясь в Whittier. Nine hours Kenai cruse was planned at 9:00 a.m., but due to weather condition, only 6 hours cruse was offered. We agreed to wait till next day and switched our plan with day 6. So we went to Exit glacier, no problem to find in the town, hiked to the side of the glacier, roughly half day if you take it slow. Then we went to downtown to sea center, which part of Fairbanks university to study animals and to treat injured. Stayed overnight at Marina Motel. Drive back and continue to Soldotna / Homer direction. Stopped at Ninilchik to see a Russian church, stopped at Nikolaevsk to have lunch ( 9 miles from Anchor point on the North Fork Road, ended at "Land End " hotel at the end of Homer Spit. Total 173 miles from Seward. Drove back to Soldotna 77 miles. Stayed at King Salmon motel. Мы продолжали движение на юг по направлению Soldotna / Homer.
Остановились в Нинильчик Ninilchik посмотреть русскую церковь, затем поехали на русский ланч в Николаевск. Оттуда направились в Хомер постоять на краешке земли и направились назад в Солдатню, остановившись на самой западной точке американского хайвэя.
На ночь остановились в Солдатне в King Salmon.
Drove back to Anchorage with visiting Conservation center for wild animals and numerous stops. Total 149 miles for that day. Ехали назад в Анкоридж с многочисленными остановками. Заехали в Conservation center для диких животных.
